Acala combines water treatment and water dispenser in one small jug. Simple construction and handling make it child’s play to always have drinking water that is identical to spring water.
The ^AcalaQuell jug filters are small and compact, but big in their effect. The multi-layered filtration ensures demonstrably high water quality.
The Pi technology (Pi = back to the source) developed in Japan and Germany for water treatment restores the properties of a natural spring to your drinking water!

The result is soft, easily digestible water and thus the basis for your body’s well-being and functionality.
As no pressure is exerted on the water, your drinking water has time to develop, just like a good wine.

Preliminary stage: The limescale pad
The limescale pad attracts the limescale suspended in the water like a magnet

Stage 1: The micro-sponge
The micro-sponge does not allow any dust, rust or suspended particles to pass through. The AcalaQuell^® One/Swing microsponge has a pore size of only 1 µm* smaller than a bacterium in water. Only clear water can pass through these fine pores and so the ^AcalaQuell® One/Swing filter cartridge remains free of dust, rust and sediment carried by the water from the pipes, keeping your cartridge fully efficient throughout its entire service life.

Stage 2: The filter cartridge
Layer 1: Ion exchanger reduces limescale, nitrate and heavy metals
Layer 2: High-tech activated carbon with an outstanding retention capacity (iodine value 1200!) removes harmful substances excellently!
Pesticides, heavy metals, drug residues etc. are safely retained!
Layer 3: Pi mineralization transforms your water into a fresh spring with highly developed materials such as ceramic-fired tourmaline, calcium, magic ball and precious magnesium as well as magnets, EM ceramics (Effective Microorganisms) and quartz sand.

The ^AcalaQuell® jug filter cartridge moderately reduces limescale.
If you would like to reduce limescale to a greater extent, please order an additional set of 9 limescale pads.
