The filter stages
Pre-filter:
The micro sponge
does not allow dust or rust and suspended particles to pass through. The AcalaQuell® micro sponge has a pore size of only 1 µm*.
Only clear water can pass through these fine pores and thus the AcalaQuell® pitcher filter – cartridge remains free of dust, rust and sediments carried by the water from the pipes.
Your cartridge thus remains efficient throughout its entire service life.
The filter cartridge contains the Pi technology***, part of the Acala developed ReNaWa ® – Technology.
Combined with our many years of research and experience, we have succeeded in achieving natural filtration.
After the water has flowed through all the layers, it tastes clean and pure again like from a fresh mountain stream, so drinking becomes a pleasure.
In one step, the water is purified and regains its natural structure.
Stage 1: Ion exchanger reduces lime, nitrate and heavy metals
Stage 2:High tech activated carbon with an excellent retention capacity (Iodine value 1200!**) removes pollutants excellently!
Pesticides, heavy metals, drug residues, etc. are safely retained!
Stage 3: ReNaWa -Mineralization transforms your water into fresh spring water with the help of advanced materials such as, ceramic fired tourmaline, calcium, magic ball and noble magnesium as well as magnets,EM ceramics (Effective Microorganisms) and quartz sand.

The jug is made entirely of glass, the jar is closed with a bamboo lid with stainless steel inlay.
Optional lime filters:
The AcalaQuell® pitcher filter cartridge moderately reduces lime.
If you want to reduce lime more, please choose the option Lime Pads Set of 2, on the right side of the selection menu.
We recommend using a lime filter from 15°dH (water hardness)

The AcalaQuell® Silizia is supplied including:

Change interval:
The filter cartridge is changed every 2 months.
The micro sponge, depending on the load of your water, about every 6 months.
The capacity of a lime filter pad is, depending on the lime content of the water, about 2 – 6 weeks
